After the appearance of Attack of the clones in 2002, the second episode in the saga of Star Wars, was broadcast on television cartoon series S tar Wars: Clone Wars , directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, the creator of Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack excellent, a series that certainly opened doors to the universe of George Lucas. Located between the second and third episodes, Clone Wars chronicles the adventures of Anakin Skywalker and his padawan master, Obi Wan Kenobi Jedi, who are immersed in the war between the Republic and the separatists systems. Three years after the series, 2008 saw the premiere of the film Star Wars: The Clone Wars , who that year became the eponymous series. The tape is important because, in addition to events that occur between the belts, brings new characters, with no doubt the young Ahsoka Tano, Padawan Skywalker (now become Jedi), the most important. Like tape, the computer-animated series was were again directed by David Filoni and the same designer of the series 2003, Kilian Plunkett.
remember that I was aware of "Clone Wars" with the emergence of new Star Wars films. The subtitle of my version of A New Hope , tape, 1977, ignored this episode when it is mentioned in a dialogue between Obi Wan Kenobi (Alec Guinness) and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), the son of Anakin. This episode, like I said, I happened to notice until the premiere of Attack of the clones, which tells the origin of the stormtroopers, the soldiers Empire service in the first three films, now called "clones" from the second film. Created by the "cloners" of the planet Kamino, DNA from the bounty hunter Jango Fett (Boba's father), the clones become the main weapon of the Republic against the separatist systems, later to fight rebels under the orders of the emperor.

Log
addition to the excellent animation, the series delves into the psyche of the characters (Anakin, Obi Wan and Ahsoka) and relations between them and with the rest of the characters and organizations (the Senate, the Jedi Council, leaders of various systems.)
Like Series 2003, The clone wars has interesting scripts remembered for its originality series as Batman: the animated series , The last airbender and the aforementioned Samurai Jack. Interestingly, except for Batman, all the aforementioned series have a single story divided into several episodes.
Some
of these chapters left in the background to the actors to explore the lives of other characters like Boba Fett ("death trap", episode 20 of season two), who seeks revenge for the death of his father at the hands of Jedi Master Mace Windu , or the psyche of these clones, as in Chapter 10 of the second season, "The Deserter" about a clone who left the army and form a family, away from the conflicts in the republic.
On the other hand, are the episodes that are overtly cinematic homages, like episodes Zillo on the beast, making a nod to the kaiju film or tape Seven Samurai, Akira Kurosawa (whom he admires George Lucas) in the episode "Bounty Hunters."

Ultimately ... Product
opportunistic or not, the series is smart and entertaining, besides having an obvious quality. George Lucas is one of those characters who manage to turn everything it touches into gold, something that resembles the Beatles today: no matter what they do, their loyal fans will always be there with their wallets open.
