Off Road Suspension Blueprints

By Raul H. Perez Navarrete

In recent weeks I have purchased and acquired several films of different genres and eras, perhaps all they have in common is what I were economic.

Among these films is the first version of King Kong, released in 1933, and directed by Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack. King Kong is a film that is easily ridiculous today, but its historical significance is undeniable. Special effects and bizarre story inspired many filmmakers around the world including Eiji Tsuburaya set, Ray Harryhausen, Peter Jackson, the latter, it is known, was commissioned in 2005 to reinvent the famous character in a film starring Naomi Watts, Jack Black and Adrien Brody.

More than 60 years after its creation, to paraphrase Jorge Luis Brges, this piece is classical and therefore, it means everything to everyone. Personally, I prefer the raised by Igor Ubelgott at 64 Algarabía journal: "... King Kong is the sign of the dark, earthy, wild and full of human hair, which is expelled from Paradise by temptation of a woman who, like the Eve of Genesis, it is tempting, but devouring, poison- and hence the drop to a terrible world full of imperfections. Do it yourself

By Raul H. Perez Navarrete

admit I do not like the whole punk, however, it seems undeniable that the attitude of "do it yourself", that was inherent in this genre, was a breath of fresh air to the rock of that time drowning in the complexities of the progressive.

The Ramones States States and the Sex Pistols in the UK led a movement that broke the music scene to reach the land of graphic design, fashion, photography and visual arts in general.

More than three decades after the onset of the albums of these legendary bands, the Internet was added as an interesting element in the ideology of "DIY" Myspace is a window for self-promotion of bands and musicians of the most and unsuspected distant corners of the planet, on Youtube you can find short films and animation works of great interest and thousands of blogs around the world have become major areas of opinion; while Twitter is a plural and dynamic forum that is just starting to show its potential. Similarly, the emergence of webcomics is another example of this phenomenon.

In recent days I've found videos on youtube, blogs and twitters that made me think of the lines written above. Today, take a sheet of paper, scan it and then encourage them to raise it in the form of Internet video is not very different from making photocopies of a comic strip, stapled and distribute them in a London street in the late 70's ...

No doubt this issue would extend far, but I wanted at this time raise the general idea. No doubt you, reading these lines will have more to say about it.
